  • Walker Watch Program Helps Prevent Crime

    Washington Township is enlisting walkers and runners to help with a new Walker Watch Program that helps identify and prevent crime in local neighborhoods.

  • You Can Be a Donor

    The next Community Blood Drive sponsored by the Washington Township Fire Department takes place October 2 in the training room at Fire Headquarters, 8320 McEwen Rd.

  • Beggars Night

    Ghosts and goblins will be knocking on doors from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 31. The date is set by the Greater Dayton Mayors and Managers Association and its member cities.

  • Jail is Reaccredited

    The Montgomery County Jail has received the National Commission on Correctional Health Care Reaccreditation Award for inmate health.

  • Super Service Saturday

    The next Super Service Saturday takes place October 18. It includes four popular services -- electronics recycling, document shredding, drug drop off and child safety seat checks.

  • Clyo-Spring Valley Intersection Closures

    The Clyo Road-Spring Valley Pike intersection will be closing in two stages, from April 2 through the end of the year, while the County Engineer's Office makes improvements.
