PRE-MEETING WORKSHOP

January 4, 2010

I.          January 4th Meeting Agenda

         Jesse Lightle reviewed the agenda for tonight’s meeting.  There will be a swearing in and the election of officers.  Also on the agenda, State Representative Terry Blair will give an update on the State of Ohio, the appointment of the law director, and a decision on Zoning Case Z680-A.

II.         Martin Luther King Breakfast

            It was announced that the Martin Luther King Breakfast will be held on January 18th at 7:30 a.m.

III.        Township Representatives for Various Groups

            Joyce Young reviewed the list of boards and gave a background on each one.  The representatives will be appointed at the January 11th Trustee meeting.

IV.        Miscellaneous Communications

            The State of the Township will be read on January 11th by Joyce Young.
           
            Montgomery County will hold a meeting at the Township on January 5th to discuss a water issue.

            The Township will be applying to the Regional Transit Authority for grant money.

All formal actions of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township concerning and relating to the adoption of resolutions and/or motions passed at this meeting were adopted in an open meeting, and of any of its committees resulting in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with the law, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
