PRE-MEETING WORKSHOP

July 20, 2009

I.       Addendum

         Jesse Lightle presented an addendum item related to towing contracts.

II.     Traffic Signal

         Jesse Lightle presented facts on the reconstruction of a signal light at Rahn and Marshall Roads.  The Township is being asked to assist in the repair costs.

III.    Conservation Easement

         Jesse Lightle presented information on the Township’s receiving an approximate one acre tract of land from the existing owner.  She suggested the Township allow a conservation easement for the tract of land.

IV.     Miscellaneous

•  The Township received $2,500 for an EMS grant. 
•  Rec West received a donation of approximately $5,000 in workout equipment.
• There will be a hazardous household collection event at the Township on September 12th from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
•  Health insurance enrollment is currently underway.

All formal actions of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township concerning and relating to the adoption of resolutions and/or motions passed at this meeting were adopted in an open meeting, and of any of its committees resulting in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with the law, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
