PRE-MEETING WORKSHOP

July 6, 2009

I.         Addendum Item

           Two items will be added to the agenda for tonight’s Trustee meeting.

II.        Health Insurance

           There have been three employee meetings to explain the new process.

III.       BZA Application

           One application has been received for the open BZA position.

IV.       Miscellaneous Communications

• Jesse Lightle presented a list of concerns expressed at the last Trustee meeting.
• Jesse Lightle presented ideas for new Township banners.
• It was announced that Fire Station 45 may possibly be eligible for a grant to develop an area for sleeping quarters for full-time employees.

V.        Recreation Center

• There was a discussion over the “Sharks” swim team.  Both the coach and assistant coach have announced their resignations.
• It was announced that the Saturn Parking Lot Agreement is currently being reviewed and may change.
• The budget for Woodland Lights was reviewed and discussed.

All formal actions of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township concerning and relating to the adoption of resolutions and/or motions passed at this meeting were adopted in an open meeting, and of any of its committees resulting in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with the law, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
