PRE-MEETING WORKSHOP

I.         Tonight’s Trustee Meeting

• There was a change in the agenda.
• An addendum was added titled “A Memorandum of Understanding.”  It is an agreement between the County and the Township regarding the funding on upgrading Paragon Road.
• Jesse Lightle updated the Trustees on the Disaster Relief Program.

II.        Miscellaneous Communications

• The Science Olympiad Competition entered into by Centerville High School was won by a Centerville student.  He was first in the Country.
• Jesse Lightle reported on her attendance at the Ohio Township Association meeting in Columbus on Friday, May 15th.  She brought back a summary of the House Bills in the General Assembly and the Senate.
• Channel 22 will be doing an interview with Jesse Lightle on the Township.

III.       Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office

• Dee Osterfeld reported on items from the Sheriff’s department.  Of interest was the changing of several speed limits:
• Clyo Road from Nutt Road to Spring Valley Road.
• Spring Valley Road from Atchison Road to Clyo Road.
• Spring Valley Road from Clyo Road to Rooks Road.

All formal actions of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township concerning and relating to the adoption of resolutions and/or motions passed at this meeting were adopted in an open meeting, and of any of its committees resulting in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with the law, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
