WORKSHOP

I.         Miscellaneous Communications

           There was a discussion concerning the City of Centerville’s agenda for the Joint Entities Meeting scheduled at 7:00 p.m.

           There was also a discussion about several auto accidents over the last five days.  One involved a Sheriff’s cruiser and another involved the theft and subsequent collision of a Public Works vehicle.

II.        Government Center

           There was a discussion over potential improvements at the Government Center.  The details are still being worked out.

III.      Fire Station 42

           Fire Station 42 is requesting to go to bid to convert a room to sleeping quarters.

IV.       Town Hall

           There was a discussion over improvements at Town Hall and regarding having food available on July 1st for the one-hundred year celebration.  The Trustees have been invited to attend.

           A Willy Wonka show will be at Town Hall on May 16th.  The show is being presented in partnership with an area non-profit group.  It is anticipated that it will be sold out. 

V.        Personnel Issues

           A personnel manual for Washington Township is about finished.

           The renewal for the Township’s health insurance will be approved in May.

All formal actions of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township concerning and relating to the adoption of resolutions and/or motions passed at this meeting were adopted in an open meeting, and of any of its committees resulting in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with the law, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
