PRE-MEETING WORKSHOP

November 2, 2009

I.          Addendum Item

         An addendum item will be presented at tonight’s Trustee meeting for the replacement of three heat exchangers that are no longer working at the Rec Center.

II.         MVMAA Picture

            It was announced that the Miami Valley Military Affairs Association (MVMAA) would be taking pictures prior to the regular Trustee meeting.

III.        Miscellaneous Communications

• It was reported that the agreement with the Shark’s Swim Team is progressing.
• Jesse Lightle reported on the “Local Government Reform” meeting that was held on Friday, October 30th.
• There was some discussion over response times of various fire departments.
• There was discussion over the disposal of “old” fire hose and the possibility of donating it to another fire department.

IV.        Other

            Lee Snyder suggested adding some exterior lighting at Hithergreen.

V.         Rec Center

            Dave Paice presented an idea and led a discussion for adjusting Rec Center fees.

All formal actions of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township concerning and relating to the adoption of resolutions and/or motions passed at this meeting were adopted in an open meeting, and of any of its committees resulting in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with the law, including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
