NOTICE OF INTENT TO SELL UNNEEDED, OBSOLETE OR UNFIT FOR USE TOWNSHIP PERSONAL PROPERTY BY INTERNET AUCTION

Be advised that on the 11 th day of February, 2008, the Board of Trustees of Washington Township adopted a Resolution expressing its intent to sell unneeded, obsolete or unfit for use Township personal property by Internet auction. The Township shall contract with the Board of Commissioners of Montgomery County, Ohio, to act as its representative for the purpose of disposing of said property through the GOVDEALS.com website. All such property shall be offered for sale pursuant to the Board of County Commissioners of Montgomery County, Ohio's "On-line Sales - Terms and Conditions" and shall be sold on an "as-is, where-is" basis. All items will be available to the public on GOVDEALS.com for a minimum of fifteen (15) days. Montgomery County, Ohio, shall be responsible for collecting all fees and for all costs associated with the collection of payments. The County shall deduct from all gross sales a fifteen percent (15%) commission for those items sold via Internet auction. A complete copy of the Resolution is available for inspection at the office of the Fiscal Officer for Washington Township, 8200 McEwen Road, Dayton, Ohio 45458 during normal business hours.
